About Norton 360 Deluxe
Norton 360 Deluxe bundles top-tier protection (full marks at AV-TEST in the round shown below; the AV-Comparatives rating is on the lab’s page, linked below) with the extras most brands charge separately for: 50 GB of cloud backup, an unlimited VPN, a password manager, and dark web monitoring. Through sister brand LifeLock, Norton is also the gateway to serious US identity protection. There are trade-offs. It is heavier on older hardware than Bitdefender, the upsell screens are persistent, and the renewal price more than doubles. Turn off auto-renewal and it remains a strong buy.

AV-Comparatives included Norton 360 Deluxe in its Real-World Protection Test February-May 2026, published June 15, 2026. The lab asks for written permission before its ratings are reproduced, so the result is on the lab’s page rather than here.
AV-Comparatives: Real-World Protection Test February-May 2026“The most complete all-rounder. Excellent lab scores, generous cloud backup, a real VPN, and the deepest identity tools of any mainstream suite. It does more in the background than Bitdefender, and the renewal jump is steep, but as a one-subscription-covers-everything deal it is hard to beat.”Editorial team, via AntivirusShortlist

Who is behind Norton 360 Deluxe?
Norton 360 Deluxe is run by Gen Digital. That is the name on your invoice, in the terms and in the company register, while the website itself shows only the brand. If you searched for the company name and landed here, you are in the right place.
Are Norton 360 Deluxe and Avast One the same company?
Yes. Norton 360 Deluxe and Avast One, AVG Internet Security, Avira Free Security and LifeLock all sit under Gen Digital. They are sold separately and priced separately, but there is one owner behind them. Anyone comparing them to spread their risk is spreading it less than it looks.
